London Festival of Archtecture

Sutton has been chosen for the first time as one of the host boroughs for the prestigious London Festival of Architecture (LFA) in 2024. The festival will run from 1st to 30th June and celebrates architectural excellence, community regeneration and innovative urban development. 

This year’s theme of ‘Reimagine’ resonates with Really Local Group's mission to regenerate disused spaces and term them into cultural and community hubs, with the launch of Throwley Yard Cinema marking its sixth venue. It also aligns with Sutton Council's ambition to continue creating striking, welcoming and unique spaces for existing communities and future generations. Sutton High Street has been named as a ‘LFA Neighbourhood’ and will host a series of exciting events.
