Located on the site of the former Chicago’s nightclub, which had been vacant since 2013 and also housed a Wilko, Throwley Yard Cinema is the result of a collaborative project with Sutton Council. 

We are a creative, cultural hub is an innovative space that offers a four-screen cinema, live music space, bar, café, and workspace. Our aim is to offer a welcoming venue and creates a setting where everyone can relax, work, meet and create – all under one roof. 

We are a carbon-neutral venue, in line with the Council’s commitment to tackling climate change and achieving net zero carbon emissions as a borough. Located a 5-minute walk from Sutton train station, we take pride in our commitment to climate change and our community, which has all lead inspiring our venue. Reflecting the boroughs culture, mission and heritage.  

Our spacious, bright and day-light filled venue offers a fresh backdrop for the events scene in Sutton, offering all event bookers a backdrop that is fully accessible and the perfect setting for large scale receptions, entertaining, brand, festivals, filming and more!
